Safehold
One of the larger wards in Emberfall, the area has certainly seen better days. IT has fallen into disrepair and earned the name it has been given. Many think that Safehold is tongue-in-cheek, as the area has become anything but to the weary traveller or commonfolk. In reality, it has become exactly what its name implies to the criminal element of New Meritta. If you are on the run from a peacekeeper, Safehold is the place to be.
The Many Pennies in Safehold[edit]
When the Many Pennies of Adventure Incorporated came to Safehold they were looking for a way into the temple of Sallius hidden within the city. Bandit leader Horton helped them find the place and kept them covered in return for a mild sum of gold.
