Idra's Wisdom

  • Hands in pockets when you’re in the stores, otherwise you’ll break something.[1]
  • You got to start where you can start. [1]
  • When you meet new people don’t steal their stuff.[2]
  • A graveyard’s only creepy if you’re afraid of ghosts.[2]
  • Ghosts are great because they were people once.[2]
  • We got to keep an eye on nature.[3]
  • If you don’t try, then you’re never gonna win.[4]
  • You got to wrangle a few sheep to stay warm in the winter.[5]
  • Sometimes it’s okay to just have done an okay job. If you’re expecting a great job every time then the bar just keeps getting set higher and higher for yourself.[6]
  • If you like someone you shouldn’t tease them.[6]
  • If you’re looking for something special, then you’re going to miss all the special things that are already around you.[7]
  • When you have things you like looking at you should have people over so they might like looking at them too.[8]
  • You got to judge what a person looks like by what a person looks like inside.[8]
  • Lying to other people is like lying about a version of yourself that nobody wants to exist.[9]
  • If you’re with a group of people to not split up from them because bad things happen when you split your party.[9]
  • There’s always time for a party.[10]
  • Every adventure starts with the first step. You don’t always know where you’re going when you walk out the door, but you always end up somewhere.[11]
  • If you’re buying something that you don’t have enough to trade with right then and there you probably shouldn’t be buying that thing.[12]
  • Sometimes you go your whole life looking for love right in front of you but it was behind you the whole time.[13]
  • If you want to fall in love, you got to make a disco.[13]
  • Kids are responsible for all of the elements of their chores just as much as adults because if children don’t participate in the workings of the village then the village isn’t going to operate the best it can.[14]
  • If you ever travel to the past, make sure you don’t step on any rocks because then a butterfly in the future will die.[15]
  • It’s not about how many sheep you can lift over your head at one time, it’s about how many sheep you can get back into the pen.[16]
  • Don’t accept gifts from strangers because you never know, it might be poison.[16]
  • Birds aren’t real.[16]
  • Every time you lose a game you learn how to play it better next time.[17]
  • Some people have a bird face, some people a horse face, and some people a muffin face.[17]
  • Sometimes people just look on their face like they’re gonna murder you, but it’s just because that’s what their face looks like when it’s relaxing.[18]
  • You never want to meet an old god without a fancy crown.[19]
